Season by Season

Winter (December to February)

Mild days and cool nights. This is when most rain falls, but there are many sunny days. Usually the best surf.

Spring (March to May)

Pleasant temperatures and more wind as the season goes on. Good for mixed trips.

Summer (June to August)

Dry and warm but rarely hot, thanks to the ocean and the wind. Kite season. Mornings can sometimes be grey before the sun comes out.

Autumn (September to November)

Still warm, often calmer, and the swell starts to return. A good all-round season.

Busy and Quiet Periods

It can be busier during European school holidays and in summer, when Moroccan families also travel. Book places to stay ahead at these times. Outside them, the village is very quiet and some places keep shorter hours.
